Ocon and Gasly tested a NASCAR car before the Miami Grand Prix
No respite for the Alpine drivers who took the wheel of a Nascar car before heading to Miami (+ photos and videos).

Just landed from their plane returning from Baku, Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly headed straight to the Charlotte oval in North Carolina to test a Nascar car. Thanks to a mutual partner’s initiative, the Alpine drivers were able to get behind the wheel of the Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing’s Ford Mustang and complete a few laps at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Brad Keselowski, owner of the team and NASCAR Cup Series champion in 2012, and his teammate Chris Buescher, were able to give the best advice to the two Formula 1 drivers to tame the 850-horsepower monster. A good way to start the week and forget about the setbacks of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, where Gasly and Ocon could only manage 14th and 15th place.
