Hamilton on the RB19: “I’ve never seen a car as fast”
After Red Bull's new double win last Sunday in Jeddah, Lewis Hamilton can only acknowledge the overwhelming dominance of the car developed in Milton Keynes.

Fifth at the end of the Jeddah Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton, who admitted to not feeling connected to his car, had some battles to fight on the track to achieve this result. Along the way, the seven-time world champion crossed paths with Max Verstappen and his Red Bull making a spectacular comeback from 15th place.
At the start of the 12th lap, with the help of slipstream and the DRS (Drag Reduction System), the Dutchman had no trouble getting rid of his former championship rival. With a top speed reaching 300km/h, while his opponent was surpassing 330km/h, the British driver could only acknowledge the advantage that Red Bull has over the rest of the field.
According to him, the RB19 is more dominant than any Mercedes designed since the start of the hybrid engine era.
“I have never seen a car that fast,” he expressed after the race.
I think that when we were fast, we weren’t really that fast. I think it’s the fastest car I’ve ever seen, especially compared to the others.
I don’t know how or why, but he passed me with impressive speed. I didn’t even bother to block him because there was a huge difference in speed.
At the end of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Verstappen’s garage neighbor, Sergio Perez, a specialist in urban circuits, prevailed over his teammate. Lewis Hamilton, on the other hand, crossed the finish line thirty seconds later.
