Red Bull showcasing in India
Between two Grand Prix weekends, Red Bull took the opportunity to make a detour to India as part of a show organized by the Austrian drinks brand.

A week after Max Verstappen’s victory in the opening race of the 2023 season in Bahrain, and just a few days before the first laps of the cars in Jeddah, a Red Bull RB7, which had been crowned world champion in 2011 with Sebastian Vettel at the wheel, put on a show in Mumbai (Bombay).
On board this single-seater, powered at the time by Renault, was Scottish driver David Coulthard, Red Bull ambassador and winner of 13 Grand Prix races between 1994 and 2008. The former driver, who previously raced for Williams and McLaren, took the opportunity to rev the engine of his machine in front of a well-filled crowd.
In its history, India has hosted the Formula 1 three times at the Buddh International Circuit, located about fifty kilometers southeast of the capital, New Delhi. These three editions, held between 2011 and 2013, were indeed won by Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull.
