“We haven’t shown everything,” reveals Charles Leclerc after the tests
On the occasion of the first pre-Grand Prix press conference, Charles Leclerc spoke about the changes that have taken place at Ferrari and shared his thoughts on the team's level as they begin the 2023 season.

The Scuderia has been shaken by quite a few changes during the off-season. The Monégasque driver is delighted with the team’s new boss, Frédéric Vasseur, who is replacing Mattia Binotto.
« Fred is really good at bringing out the best in people by putting them in the best conditions. I can already see some advantages. I’m sure he will discover other things and figure out how the team works over a race weekend. I feel good and I have been impressed by how he has made himself comfortable in a great team, he declared in front of the media.
One of the first measures taken by Vasseur was to replace the strategy director. After a difficult 2022 season in that regard, Inaki Rueda was sent back to Maranello to take on other functions. Therefore, Indian Ravin Jain took over the strategy.
There have been some changes, but I don’t want to make too many comments about it. We are doing what’s best for the team. Fred came and made some changes. Time will tell if these choices were the right ones.
Ferrari’s ambition is to compete for both the driver and constructor championships, for that they will have to face the reigning champion team, Red Bull, and its driver Max Verstappen.
« They [Red Bull] got off to a good start, the team and Max seem to be strong. These are just tests, but it seems like they are a bit ahead of us. We have work to do, but the goal is to do even better. We haven’t shown everything. But Red Bull hasn’t shown everything either. We will only see in the qualifiers. It’s difficult to know where we stand, but the picture tells me that we are a bit behind. »
