A multi-year agreement signed between F1 and Qatar Airways
The F1 has partnered with the global company Qatar Airways, which becomes its airline partner for several years.
The statement announces that the Qatari giant will be the title sponsor of three races on the 2023 calendar, namely the Imola Grand Prix, the Hungary Grand Prix, and, of course, the Qatar Grand Prix.
This partnership, announced on Wednesday, February 22nd during the Motorsport Festival in Doha, will also allow fans to purchase a limited number of travel packages for certain Grand Prix events. Visitors will be able to book round-trip flights to a Grand Prix destination and tickets for the race.
Furthermore, through this agreement, F1 and Qatar Airways state that they are collaborating for the purpose of sustainability by reducing the environmental impact of their respective industries. As a reminder, F1 aims to become carbon neutral by 2030, while Qatar Airways is targeting this objective by 2050.
