James Vowles speaks about his first official day at the Williams factory. He assures that he is eager to start the season.
The former chief strategist of Mercedes arrived at Williams this winter as team principal. He replaces Jost Capito in this position. After officially starting his new role on Monday, February 20th, he is said to be eager to start the season with his new team.

Eight-time world constructor champions with Mercedes, he is widely admired and everyone is counting on him to revive Williams. The team based in Grove remains firmly entrenched in the depths of the constructor standings and too rarely manages to finish in the points.
As a reminder, the British team finished last in the constructor’s championship last year and has been facing difficulties for several years now. In 2023, it will be Alexander Albon and rookie Logan Sergent behind the wheel of the FW45.
