Aston Martin will share its reserve drivers with McLaren
Aston Martin will share its drivers with Aston Martin for the first fifteen races of the season.

In addition to its two regular drivers, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, McLaren already has two reserve drivers. Indycar driver Alex Palou joined the team last December while, as part of an agreement with Mercedes, McLaren will also be able to rely on Mick Schumacher.
From now on, the British team will expand as it announced via its Twitter account that Aston Martin will share its reserve drivers, Stoffel Vandoorne and Felipe Drugovich, for the first fifteen races of the season. The first one is currently racing in Formula E, where he is the reigning world champion. He had already driven in F1 in 2017 and 2018 with… McLaren. Felipe Drugovich, on the other hand, has not yet made his debut in the premier competition. As the current F2 champion, he appeared on the track with Aston Martin during free practice sessions last season.
