The RB19 took to the track with Verstappen for a filming session
Max Verstappen performed his first laps aboard the RB19 during a shakedown at the Silverstone circuit, giving him the opportunity to provide initial feedback on the new car.
Last Friday, the Dutch double world champion had the opportunity to test the RB19 during a promotional filming day at the Silverstone circuit, which will host the eleventh round of the 2023 season in July.
The new Red Bull bull’s mount was fitted with demonstration tires, and the team mainly took advantage of this day to check the proper functioning of all systems.
Max Verstappen gave a first impression at the end of this day following the test.
“Today, I drove the RB19 for the first time,” commented Max Verstappen after his test drive at Silverstone.
Of course, it’s just a filming day at Silverstone, but I had a good first impression. Everything worked as it should and everything went well, which is exactly what you hope for during such a day. Now, I’m just excited to go to Bahrain [for the winter testing].
