AlphaTauri renews its partnership with Flex Box

The Italian stable and the global leader in logistics had signed an initial partnership in February 2022. Today, the team announces, in a statement, the renewal of this agreement.

Based in Hong Kong, Flex Box manufactures and ships containers worldwide. AlphaTauri aims to become carbon-neutral by 2030. This alliance allows them to take a step towards this goal by prioritizing the use of shipping by sea rather than by air freight whenever possible.

Marco Perrone, head of the sports management of Scuderia AlphaTauri, stated, “With 23 races on the calendar, both the physical movements of the team’s freight and the financial implications that arise from it in the era of cost cap mean that we must have a better understanding of every shipment we make. That’s why we have called upon the expertise of Flex Box as a key advisor. Furthermore, this will allow us to reduce the carbon footprint of our logistics and achieve the team’s sustainability goals.”

The livery that AlphaTauri will unveil on February 11th will therefore display the logo of the Chinese company for another year.
