The new media rights agreement will start in 2023 and last until the end of the 2025 championship. It will include the rights for all Grand Prix races, speed races, qualifications, and practice sessions, announces the channel.

The Qatari television network, established in 2011, currently belongs to the BeIn Media group, presided over by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. Qatar continues to host major global sporting events, such as the addition of the Qatar Grand Prix to the calendar since 2021 and the organization of the last FIFA World Cup.

Ian Holmes, Director of Media Rights and Content Creation at Formula 1, has welcomed this new agreement. After several years of increasing interest throughout Asia, we are delighted to announce this partnership with beIN SPORTS. As Formula 1 continues to attract new fans worldwide, world-class broadcasting is essential, and this agreement will allow us to find new and innovative ways for our Asian fans to follow and engage with our sport.

In France, there is no question of a change; it is indeed Canal+ that continues to broadcast F1. The group extended its contract last year and holds the exclusive rights until 2029.
