Pietro Fittipaldi continues his adventure with Haas
Haas has confirmed the continuation of its relationship with Pietro Fittipaldi as an official test and reserve driver for the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship.

The 26-year-old Brazilian will therefore start his fifth season with the only American team in the paddock in a few weeks. He will be replacing both regular drivers, Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hülkenberg, and will contribute particularly to the development of the VF-23.
As a reminder, during the 2020 season, he took his place behind the wheel for the last two races of the championship to replace the injured Romain Grosjean after his terrible crash. Last season, Pietro Fittipaldi made several appearances with the VF-22, starting with the pre-season tests in Bahrain, then during two free practice sessions in Mexico and Abu Dhabi, before finishing the year during the post-season tests at the Yas Marina Circuit.
2023 is also an opportunity for the young driver to make his debut in the LMP2 category of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar championship and his first full season in the LMP2 category of the World Endurance Championship.
After the announcement of his extension, he expressed himself on social media and said he is very happy to continue being part of my Formula 1 driver family, the Haas F1 Team, as a reserve and test driver for the 2023 season!
