Canal+ has become over time the official broadcaster of Formula 1. No surprise, the pre-season tests which will take place in Bahrain from 23rd to 25th February will therefore be watched live in the same place.

The channel started covering its first Grand Prix races in 2013 and the contract was extended until 2029. As Formula 1’s audience ratings continue to explode, Maxime Saada, President of the Executive Board of the CANAL+ Group, had expressed his satisfaction with this extension with Formula 1. « For the past 10 years, we have been offering comprehensive coverage and globally recognized expertise, constantly renewed and perfected by CANAL+’s motorsport editorial team. »

As part of this agreement, the Grand Prix races, practice sessions, qualifiers, and specialized programs are to be followed on the Canal+ channels. The group had already broadcasted the pre-season tests in 2022 that took place in Bahrain and Barcelona. So it logically follows that it will happen the same way this year.

As Julien Fébreau and Jacques Villeneuve put it so well, « See you at the first corner » in a few weeks for the launch of the 2023 season.
