On the French side, disappointment was predominant. Despite the defeat, Esteban Ocon nevertheless paid tribute to the French team by expressing his pride after this month-long competition that could have led to a third world title for the Blues.

Slightly different tone from Romain Grosjean. The future Porsche endurance racing driver took to Twitter in English to congratulate the Argentinians on their victory.
