Brazilian Grand Prix – Prediction and presentation
This weekend, Interlagos welcomes the Formula 1 field for the penultimate round of the championship, the last in the Sprint format. Who are our favorites? Here's an overview of our predictions for the Brazilian Grand Prix.

An unmissable event at the end of the season, the Brazilian Grand Prix is one of the most beloved races by the die-hard fans of the premier category. Its historical significance, with the icon Ayrton Senna always in everyone’s minds, along with the beauty of its circuit, are two of the major assets of this race.
The mythical route par excellence
Stretching over 4,309 kilometers, the Autodromo Carlos Pace consists of 15 turns and is run counterclockwise, which is one of the main challenges of this circuit. It has two DRS zones, including the one on the main straight that goes all the way to the first turn, the famous Senna S-curves.
However, without a doubt, the most important turn on the circuit is turn 13, known as “La Jonction”. This marks the end of the second sector and determines the long left-hand curve that leads to the straight line of the pit lane, all while accelerating towards the first turn. A crucial passage to navigate!
Pirelli’s choices
The Italian manufacturer opted this weekend for its mid-range options ranging from the C2 for the hard tire to the C4 for the soft tire. On a track where the undercut can be very powerful, it will be important to follow the different strategies adopted by the teams.

Has the time finally come for Hamilton and Mercedes?
Will we witness Lewis Hamilton’s first winless season? It is undoubtedly one of the major challenges of the season, as Mercedes, too, is chasing its first victory of the year. The German team has secured at least one win every year since 2012.
The Brazilian Grand Prix is one of the last two chances to win, and probably the best given the track. The altitude suits Mercedes well, even though the engine deficit compared to Red Bull is still very significant. The star brand will be closely observed by its competitors on one of its seven-time world champion’s favorite circuits.
The editorial predictions: Verstappen for the sprint, Hamilton for the win!
The Sprint format this weekend is inspiring us, and many of us are betting on an excellent weekend for Hamilton and Mercedes, who are our top favorites for the ultimate victory. However, we must not forget the Red Bulls of Verstappen and Pérez, who will undoubtedly be in the running for the win.
What can you tell us about Ferrari? The assessment is simple: few of us are optimistic about the chances of the Scuderia, even if a brilliant Leclerc could potentially make it to the podium after a tough battle.
