United States Grand Prix – Sebastian Vettel voted driver of the day!
Sebastian Vettel was voted driver of the day in Austin, after leading a portion of the race and ultimately finishing in 8th position.

What a race for Sebastian Vettel! After starting the United States Grand Prix in 10th position, the German showed great determination until the finish line, battling it out with Kevin Magnussen all the way to the checkered flag. The Aston Martin driver eventually managed to get the upper hand on the Danish driver, finishing in 8th position. Prior to that, Sebastian Vettel had led the race himself for many laps, managing his medium tires remarkably well and only pitting on the 42nd lap. Unfortunately for him, he suffered from a disastrously slow pit stop, lasting 16.8 seconds. But the four-time world champion had more than one trick up his sleeve and was able to make up for lost time, bidding farewell to the American crowd in a truly honorable manner.
