The Grand Prix of Las Vegas will take place on Saturday evening!
The schedule for the 2023 Grand Prix has been announced, and a new circuit has emerged. It is the Las Vegas circuit, which will take place on the city streets, next to the casinos. A new Grand Prix for a special occasion, as it will be held on Saturday evening instead of Sunday.

The Grand Prix of Las Vegas is going to be quite special. It will take place on Saturday, November 18th at 10pm local time. Therefore, the entire Grand Prix schedule will be shifted. The first free practice sessions will be held on Thursday and the qualifying rounds will take place on Friday.
By airing at 10pm, the Grand Prix will be watched in Europe early Sunday morning (7am in Paris), in Asia on Saturday in the early afternoon, and in the Americas late in the evening.
Very few Grand Prix do not take place on a Sunday.
This is the first time since 1985 that a Grand Prix will take place on a day other than Sunday. It happened during the controversial South African Grand Prix on Saturday, October 19, 1985. This is not the only instance, as the first Grand Prix in history, which took place in 1950 at Silverstone, was also held on a Saturday.
The return of Formula 1 to Las Vegas.
Las Vegas already hosted Formula 1 races in 1981 and 1982. The circuit was located in the parking lot of the Caesars Palace casino and was 3.650 km long. The drivers had to complete 75 laps.
This time, the race will take place in the streets of Las Vegas between the different casinos. The track will have a length of 6.14 kilometers, and the drivers will have to complete 50 laps for a total of 306 kilometers.
