Pierre Gasly full of hope after the result in Belgium
After 5 Grand Prix without scoring points, Gasly was eager to come back from the break with better intentions. This has been accomplished with the new points scored at the Belgian Grand Prix.

Gasly returns with new intentions. After a month-long break, the French driver wants to come back from the Grand Prix with many points, and it all started this weekend at Spa-Francorchamps.
The French driver has secured us a beautiful 9th place, even though he started from the pit lane. Despite qualifying in 8th place, the driver encountered an engine issue just before the start. The problem had to be fixed, so the driver started from the pit lane alongside his teammate Tsunoda.
But the Japanese driver did not have the same success as Gasly in this Grand Prix. While the Frenchman expected to finish in 9th place, Tsunoda only managed to secure the 13th position in this Grand Prix.
A Grand Prix that launches its season.
After the successful Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps for the French driver, we can hope to see the French driver score points more often towards the end of the season.
The driver who scored the majority of points for his team will try to continue his momentum to earn even more points and more frequently.
This race was able to definitively launch the season. Starting from the pits, with little chance of starting and managing to end up in the points was almost impossible. But the French driver fought until the end and finally took 9th place.
« Until 90 seconds before the start, we didn’t think we would be able to start as we couldn’t start the engine. Those were lively first laps, so it’s a pleasant surprise to be able to come back into the top 10, and I am happy with the result. »
A race that could give him ideas for the rest of the season, and then he can hope to gain points and positions in the overall drivers’ standings.
