Formula 2 – End of season for Jake Hughes, Beckmann replaces him
Jake Hughes, VAR driver in Formula 2, ends his program in the Formula 1's waiting room. David Beckmann takes his place.

Jake Hughes, third driver for Mercedes in Formula E (The team has just won the world championship titles for both drivers and teams).
The British driver, currently sixteenth in the Formula 2 championship with VAR, decides to withdraw from Formula 2 to focus on his Formula E program.
David Beckmann will take the wheel of the VAR number 24 starting from this weekend at Spa Francorchamps. The German had already replaced Jake Hughes at Le Castellet and Hungaroring due to testing positive for Covid.
