While the ceasefire is in full swing, questions arise about Théo Pourchaire’s future. An uncertain future in competition with few spots in teams. However, the French driver is having a very good season in Formula 2 with a 2nd place, just a few points behind the leader.

He does not want to continue one more season in Formula 2. That’s why he is open to any proposals regarding Formula 1 teams.

« This is my last season of FIA F2, for sure. I will not do another season. Financially, it won’t be possible. It’s not a good solution. Two seasons in a championship is enough for a driver, the French driver stated on the subject to our colleagues at France Racing.

After waves of rumors about departures and arrivals within the teams during this break, a spot could nevertheless become available in one of them. Théo Pourchaire could then take advantage and seize the opportunity he has been waiting for.

(Maybe one day, I will have the opportunity, maybe I won’t. I don’t know if I will drive during the free practice sessions. But it’s better this way, I remain focused on my FIA F2 season. If there is an opportunity, I will seize it,” the Frenchman declared.)

In the meantime, Théo Pourchaire could be the driver for a Formula 1 free practice session, behind the wheel of an Alfa Romeo. This is a chance for him to demonstrate his skills as a driver and catch the attention of one of the teams.
