Hungarian Grand Prix – Victory for Doohan, unlucky for Pourchaire
Jack Doohan (Virtuosi) has signed his second victory in Formula 2. Juri Vips (Hitech GP) and Enzo Fittipaldi (Charouz). Théo Pourchaire finishes in ninth place after avoiding a collision at the start.

Small confusion at the start, Brazilian Felipe Drugovich makes a mistake and hits Logan Sargeant who is sandwiched between him and Dennis Hauger on his right. With a broken wing, the American will have to retire later on. But before that, Dennis Hauger spins and takes Théo Pourchaire with him as he tries to avoid the Prema driver. The Frenchman comes out in fifteenth place. No investigation into Drugovich’s controversial move.
At the restart of the Safety Car, Jack Doohan rockets into the lead, all the way to the finish line.
We had a great battle with three Red Bull Junior Team drivers and Marcus Armstrong for sixth place (with Liam Lawson, Ayumu Iwasa, and Jehan Daruvala).
Théo Pourchaire climbed up to ninth position with some impressive overtakes.
Jack Doohan has won for the second time this season after the Silverstone sprint race. Juri Vips and Enzo Fittipaldi complete the podium.
Felipe Drugovich finishes in fourth place.
Meet tomorrow morning for the main race with Ayumu Iwasa in pole position.
