Leclerc will test a new floor at Le Castellet
For Friday's free practice sessions at Le Castellet, Ferrari plans to test a new undertray on Charles Leclerc's car.

The race for development is raging in Formula 1 and will continue at the Paul Ricard circuit this weekend. Ferrari has indeed brought a new floor, which Charles Leclerc will test in the free practice sessions on Friday.
This new component has already been tested in a wind tunnel. The tests on the track will allow us to see if the data collected at the factory corresponds, or not, to the data that the track will provide to the engineers. Additionally, Carlos Sainz will continue to drive with the current floor. Ferrari will be able to evaluate whether the new component on Leclerc’s car brings a real improvement to the car. The Italian team will thus make the decision to continue in this direction or to stick with the current version.
If this new floor represents a real step forward for Ferrari, it is possible that this element will also be fitted on Carlos Sainz’s race car. The question remains whether Ferrari has brought a single or two copies of this part located under the Formula 1 cars. The answer will be known in the coming hours.
