Mid-season F1 2022: How many remaining points do the drivers have on their license?
The 2022 season has reached the halfway point, let's take stock of everyone's penalty points.

Each penalty against a driver can result in penalty points on their license, after accumulating 12 points within a rolling 12-month period, the driver is excluded from the next race. The points are wiped exactly one year after their assignment.
5/12 – Max Verstappen / Lance Stroll / Pierre Gasly
5 out of 12 races were won by Max Verstappen, Lance Stroll, and Pierre Gasly.
Max Verstappen made a few mistakes last year in his battle against Lewis Hamilton, including 2 for the accident in Monza, and 2 for the Jeddah “brake-test”. The other 3 points came from a track exit in Jeddah and a failure to slow down under double yellow flags in Qatar. His next points will expire on September 12, 2022.
Lance Stroll has accumulated 3 accidents resulting in penalty points on his license: Hungary at the start, Russia, and Australia during qualifying, where he collided with Latifi. His last point was also given to him in Australia, following a second change of direction during braking.
Pierre Gasly has received 7 penalty points, including 6 for collisions: 2 for a crash with Alonso in Turkey, then Stroll in Spain, and finally Vettel in Austria. He also received 1 penalty point in the last Grand Prix for repeatedly leaving the track.
6/12 – Alexander Albon / Fernando Alonso / Yuki Tsunoda
Since his return this year, the Thai driver has already gained 6 points, including 2 as a result of a collision in Jeddah and 2 more in Austria for pushing a driver off the track. The remaining 2 points were due to track limit violations in Barcelona and Monaco. It will be necessary to wait until 2023 for him to be able to recover points.
Fernando Alonso was also at fault in two collisions, two points each, the first in Turkey with Schumacher, and the second in Miami. The last point on his license is also from Miami, after he left the track and gained an advantage. He received another penalty in Canada for changing direction too many times during braking: 1 point deducted. His next point expires on October 10, 2022.
Yuki Tsunoda was deemed responsible in two collisions, each resulting in two points: one in Brazil, and one in Jeddah. The last two points were due to crossing lines on two consecutive occasions in Australia. He will lose one point on November 14, 2022.
8/12 – Esteban Ocon
Ocon has been involved in collisions on 3 occasions, with 1 penalty point for the one in Italy, 2 for the one in Bahrain, and one final point for the clash with Hamilton in Monaco. His next penalty point will expire on October 10th.

10/12 – Daniel Ricciardo / Kevin Magnussen / George Russell / Guanyu Zhou
This is the lineup for a race or an event, with the names of the drivers.
Daniel Ricciardo blocked an opponent during qualifying in Jeddah, earning him a penalty point. He also cut the track and gained an advantage in Miami, giving him an additional unit on his license. His point will expire on March 25, 2023.
Kevin Magnussen earns two points for his return to F1 after causing a collision at the Miami Grand Prix. He will have to wait until May 8th to start from scratch, if no other penalties occur.
