Third at the end of the Austrian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton does well and stands out compared to the previous sessions of the race weekend. Satisfied, he nonetheless remains realistic about the work to be done in order to catch up with the leaders.

“I followed the head battle like in front of the TV,” declares the Mercedes driver with a smile behind his mask.

By this sentence, he confirms that by finishing more than 40 seconds behind the winner, the gap was too big to be able to achieve a better result. His podium position was only made possible thanks to the mishaps of Sainz and Perez.

« I am extremely satisfied with this result,” confides the Englishman.

With this new podium, Lewis Hamilton clearly shows that he is here for the rest of the season.
