WEC 2023: Ferrari and Cadillac sharpen their Hypercars
While Peugeot enters the WEC arena at Monza this weekend, the other Hypercar manufacturers are slowly getting ready. Cadillac and Ferrari have hit the track and given a first real glimpse of their identity.

Slowly but surely, the field of Hypercars in endurance racing is expanding. The flood of announcements from manufacturers has thrilled the audience, as it heralds a new golden age for the WEC starting in 2023.
Two monsters came out of their tavern: Ferrari and Cadillac, whose car names are always unknown.
Cadillac: the second LMDh is unveiled in reality
The Cadillac prototype will make its debut in IMSA in January next year, at the 24 Hours of Daytona. It was Earl Bamber, winner at Le Mans with Porsche in 2015, who was the first to take it to the track.
The American manufacturer joins Porsche in the LMDh class. The regulations are based on those of LMP2, and the transatlantic brand had to choose a chassis partner. Dallara was chosen. The name of the car is still unknown for now, but it is already known that it will be a hybrid V8 engine under its hood.
Ferrari: awaiting the real colors
In Maranello, we like to be desired! The Ferrari LMH has taken its first laps at Fiorano, in camouflage livery.
It is interesting to note the remarkable singularity of the Italian prototype: a huge rear wing, which is supported not by two, but by three masts, one of which is located in the center, in line with the shark fin. We are light years away from the Peugeot concept!
The hybrid turbo V6 engine of the Ferrari Hypercar will be derived from the knowledge gained in Formula 1. The Italian manufacturer is joining Toyota and Peugeot in the V6 family and the LMH class, which is more permissive than the LMDh.
