Marko expects a favorable Austrian Grand Prix for Red Bull
Formula 1 heads to Red Bull's home turf in Austria. Helmut Marko is feeling rather confident.

The Austrian Grand Prix takes place at the Red Bull Ring, and as past editions may suggest, Max Verstappen is heavily favored to come out on top on this intense circuit. With its high-speed banked corners, the Spielberg circuit is very hilly and relatively bumpy, making the bumps a danger for the teams this weekend. Where Silverstone revealed that the Mercedes was increasingly less affected by intense bouncing, the Red Bull Ring could well bring the German team back to reality.
At least, this is what Helmut Marko is trying to say when referring to the upcoming weekend: “I think the other teams will have more issues with the bumps than us, they will be forced to raise their cars to avoid that. On our side, we have absolutely no problem with these bumps.”
The Austrian hopes to be able to rely on his engine advantage to go for the win: « Let’s not forget that our engine is one of our huge advantages. Honda builds an engine that is very efficient at high altitude. After all, our first victory with Honda was in Austria (2019) »
Max Verstappen has won 4 out of the last 5 Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring, once again it seems like nothing could challenge the Dutchman in front of his crowd this year.
