New engine components for Ferrari
After the first free practice session, Ferrari installed new engine components on both cars.
Ferrari has decided to install new engine components on its two cars for the second free practice session.
Carlos Sainz was equipped with a second turbocharger, a second MGU-H, and his second MGU-K. He is not subject to any penalties as these are the latest parts within the imposed limit.
Charles Leclerc, on the other hand, has a new exhaust system, his sixth of the season among the eight allowed. The Monegasque driver has already received penalties in Canada for changing his internal combustion engine.
Guanyu Zhou, Sergio Perez, and Kevin Magnussen have also been given a new gearbox. This is the second piece used this season for these three drivers.
