New improvements for Aston Martin at Silverstone
Aston Martin announced that the team will bring substantial new improvements for the British Grand Prix.

Struggling since the beginning of the season, Aston Martin is trying their best to climb up the ranking. A first complete package had been brought to Barcelona in an attempt to get them out of their situation, but without any immediate real effect.
The one who has been referred to as the “Green Bull” due to her striking resemblance to the RB18 will finally receive significant upgrades again at the next Grand Prix.
The technical director of Aston Martin, Mike Krack, explains his choice: « We are constantly making small changes, but big improvements are managed differently. For Silverstone, we are once again bringing significant improvements, as will the rest of the grid I think, […] but we are confident, we will take a big step forward. »
Currently 8th in the championship, and struggling to escape Q1 on several occasions, Krack still considers his team to be a midfield team. When you look at the midfield, it is so close, you do not need to take a huge step in order to gain many positions. If you manage to get ahead of the others, the points you will earn will be much bigger than if you are missing 2 or 3 tenths compared to the others. We need to get ahead of the others, and then it will be easier to score points.
With only 16 points in 9 races, it will be absolutely necessary for Aston Martin that the solutions brought to Silverstone are effective if they want to hope to continue fighting in 2022.
