For each driver, wearing a special helmet on their home turf has become a habit. This weekend is the Canadian Grand Prix, an opportunity for Canadian drivers to sport new colors. While Nicholas Latifi hasn’t revealed a special helmet yet, that’s the case for Lance Stroll.

The helmet is predominantly white and highlights the red maple leaf on top, a symbol of Canada.

Despite the absence of the Montreal circuit since 2019, Lance Stroll has experienced three home races since his debut in Formula 1 in 2017. While 2018 was synonymous with a first lap retirement after a heavy collision with Brendon Hartley’s Toro Rosso, Stroll scored points on his home turf in 2017 and 2019, finishing 9th in the race both times.

Struggling this season, like the other Canadian driver Nicholas Latifi, the home Grand Prix could spark a comeback for Lance Stroll.
