Monaco Grand Prix – The race’s outlook
Charles Leclerc may have overcome the toughest challenge by securing pole position on the Monte Carlo circuit this Saturday. Will the Monegasque driver manage to go all the way and win his national Grand Prix? Here are the prospects for the Monaco Grand Prix.

Will Leclerc overcome the curse?
As since the beginning of the weekend, it’s THE question that everyone is asking. Will Charles Leclerc finally be a prophet in his own country? The Ferrari driver has already done a great deal of the work by securing the pole position in a very impressive manner for his home Grand Prix.
Behind the wheel of a very swift Ferrari, Leclerc has the opportunity this Sunday to finally put an end to the bad luck that has followed him since the beginning of his career on home soil. The answer will come in the coming hours!
Will Red Bull be able to compete for the victory?
This weekend, Red Bull was slightly below its Italian counterpart in terms of performance. And, for the first time since joining Red Bull, Sergio Pérez outperformed his reigning world champion teammate throughout the sessions.
In the fight for pole position against the Ferraris, Pérez nevertheless saw his efforts vanish at Portier during his last attempt, with a track exit caused by tires that were too cold.
Verstappen’s last lap was therefore cancelled due to his Mexican teammate’s off-track excursion. The Dutchman, aware that he was too far behind Leclerc for pole position, was nonetheless frustrated to see his final time aborted for the second consecutive year.
In order to have a chance to win tomorrow, the Austrian team will have to do everything perfectly, from the start to the strategy, including the pit stops, in order to hope to defeat the Reds.

Can an outsider make it onto the podium?
Monaco is a Grand Prix like no other, and going off track or using alternative strategies can sometimes lead to unexpected results on the podium. And it is safe to say that there is no shortage of contenders in case of failures at the front of the pack!
Starting with Lando Norris. The McLaren driver, already opportunistic in Imola, could take advantage of his 5th position and be the best of the rest. Behind him, Fernando Alonso has appeared more hungry than ever this weekend and will want to forget his mistake at the end of Q3 at all costs.
We must not dismiss the Mercedes drivers either. Russell will start from 6th place alongside Norris, and we could clearly see his determination against the Red Bulls in Barcelona. Hamilton, on the other hand, is struggling a bit, but the seven-time world champion is, of course, capable of anything.
Will Gasly be able to climb back in the points?
He is the unfortunate one of this qualifying session. The French driver was eliminated in Q1 after he was unable to make his final attempt, as he took the checkered flag just seconds before starting his lap.
Only 17th place, despite fighting for 5th place in every practice session, Gasly finds himself in the same position as Leclerc in 2019, with a high-performing car but starting from the back of the grid.
Very frustrated after leaving the garage, the winner of the 2020 Italian Grand Prix hopes to have the opportunity to climb back into the points zone and will do his best to do so. To say that the task won’t be easy is an understatement!
So, who will enter the legend of the Rock by winning this Monaco Grand Prix?
The start of the Grand Prix will be given from 3:00pm.
