Kubica will drive in free practice at Barcelona this Friday
Robert Kubica will be behind the wheel of the C42 this Friday for the first free practice session of the Spanish Grand Prix.
This Spanish Grand Prix was already going to be an opportunity to see numerous stand-ins during the first free practice session. De Vries and Vips, already announced at Williams and Red Bull, will be joined on the track by a much more experienced driver at Alfa Romeo: Robert Kubica.
The 37-year-old Pole will participate in the first free practice session this Friday on the Barcelona track behind the wheel of the C42.
The reserve driver for Alfa Romeo, the first driver to hit the track with the team’s 2022 model during winter testing, will replace Chinese driver Guanyu Zhou for the session.
