Verstappen does not foresee a departure from Red Bull
Max Verstappen has confirmed his well-being within his team and does not currently see himself leaving Red Bull before the end of his contract.

I feel really good in the team. There is no reason to leave the team. We get along well and we have a competitive package.
The newly crowned 24-year-old world champion will be 31 years old at the end of his current contract, since his extension signed last March binding him to the team until 2028. According to him, anything can happen until then. « At the end of my contract, I’ll only be 31. After that, I’ll still have the option to continue or not. I won’t be old at the end of the contract. »
After his exceptional duel against Lewis Hamilton last season, the 2022 season sees his childhood rival, Charles Leclerc, coming to compete with him for a potential second crown at the end of the year.
