There will be no improvements in Barcelona for Haas
Günther Steiner stated that Haas will not bring any updates to their car for the Spanish Grand Prix this weekend.

Last season, Haas was a poor performer on the grid, but they have made a strong comeback this season. Well, at least in the beginning. Because while the VF-22 easily secured a spot in the top 10 during the first few races, the last three races have been more challenging, with only two measly points earned during this period, thanks to Kevin Magnussen’s ninth-place finish at Imola.
A small slump that isn’t catastrophic either, since the American team could have scored points in Miami with a bit more luck. Nevertheless, some improvements on this car wouldn’t hurt.
And precisely, Günther Steiner stated that no developments would be brought to Barcelona. These words also apply to a few races following the Spanish Grand Prix.
We have decided to wait a bit longer for these improvements because I still believe that we have performance in the car without them that we need to achieve on the track, so sometimes we make it, sometimes we don’t.
« We will have a good package of improvements in about four or five upcoming races, so I am confident about that and about what the others will bring. As of now, I don’t know, but I will know much more next Monday.
»
Steiner expects many teams to bring improvements to Barcelona, as is the case every year. Normally, Spain is the obvious place to bring improvements, and I think several teams have planned for it. I don’t know what difference they will make to each car and what they will bring.
