Magnussen: “The toughest race I’ve ever done”
Kevin Magnussen revealed that he did not have a very good race in Miami, due to several factors.

Haas left Miami, the first of their two home Grand Prix races this season, with a disappointing zero points. They initially had a good chance of scoring some points within the top 10, but the overall results were poor for the American team, with Mick Schumacher finishing in 15th place and Kevin Magnussen retiring in the very last moments.
After his director Günther Steiner, it is now the Danish driver’s turn to express his disappointment as he leaves Florida, as well as the difficulty he felt during the race. « It was the toughest race I have ever done, it was incredibly hot. I had to do the last stint with damage to the front wing but even with these damages we were in a position to fight for P10. We were catching up to Alonso and he had a penalty, but that’s how it goes. We tried everything we could and we didn’t score any points, let’s move on. »
Asked about the contact with Lance Stroll after the safety car restart, while battling for 12th place and resulting in a five-second penalty, Magnussen partially admits his fault. (e) Yes, I tried to brake late, we both did. I couldn’t slow down enough to make the turn, so I hit him.
