Aston Martin will have a completely new car in Spain
The Aston Martin team is currently working on a B version of the AMR22. It is set to hit the track at the upcoming Grand Prix in Barcelona.

The 2022 season of Aston Martin is not going as planned so far. With only six points after five races, the British team is currently second to last in the championship, ahead of Williams by only three units. Drivers Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll complain about a car that is difficult to drive and prone to wobbling in straight lines.
To overcome these problems and climb back up in the standings, the teams of technical director Andrew Green are currently working on a version B of the current race car. According to the German magazine “Auto, Motor und Sport,” the goal is to introduce this new AMR22 at the next Grand Prix in Barcelona. However, supply problems could force the Silverstone team to bring only one version B to Catalonia.
This new single-seater must in any case allow Aston Martin to return to the race for big points. In Miami, only one unit was scored thanks to Lance Stroll’s tenth place. The two single-seaters had also started from the pit lane due to a fuel temperature problem. The ambitious owner of the legendary English brand, Lawrence Stroll, is undoubtedly not satisfied with what he is seeing at the moment on the championship circuits. The announcement of significant developments on the single-seater is at least good news in a very grey start to the season for the Green team.
