To replace the originally scheduled Russian Grand Prix on September 25th, several proposals are being considered in the Formula 1 world (a second race in Singapore, Qatar, etc.).
But let’s focus on Formula 2! The Russian Grand Prix was the penultimate race of the season following the triple header at Spa, Zandvoort, and Monza.

For cost reasons, it is unlikely to see the Formula 2 cars follow the Formula 1 cars during this weekend of September 23-25 as the race will probably not be in Europe.
The best opportunity is to hold a meeting on a European circuit. And it just so happens that only one of them did not host the F2 or F3!
According to our sources, discussions are progressing well for the Formula 2 to have 14 meetings as planned by going to the Paul Ricard Circuit at the end of July!
This information should be taken with a pinch of salt. Indeed, we know very well that this money-driven world is very volatile.
It would also be possible to have only 13 meetings instead of 14 this year. The teams, not being satisfied with the reliability of the Mécharchrome engines, could veto an additional round.
