Toto Wolff would like to see three Grand Prix races in China
Toto Wolff declared that he would like China, just like the United States, to have three races on its soil.

Absent from the calendar since 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, China nevertheless saw its Formula 1 contract extended last November until 2025. While the arrival of Guanyu Zhou in the premier category may have pleased many Chinese fans, they will have to wait until at least next season to see F1 cars racing in Shanghai again, as it is not on the calendar this season.
Toto Wolff declared to the Chinese news agency Xinhua that China is an important player in Formula 1, especially for his team Mercedes. We have already been to Shanghai and we couldn’t go in the last two years, but it’s an important market for us. […] It’s a fantastic market for us as Mercedes, and I believe we should be integrated there with a strong presence.
Wolff goes even further by suggesting an even crazier idea than simply returning to Shanghai. « I would not only like to race in Shanghai, but also in Beijing. […] We have three races in the United States, Las Vegas, Miami and Austin, and if we did the same thing in China, it would be great. »
