Barcelona F2 Trials: Boschung sets the pace on day 1
The Formula 2 cars are present in Barcelona for 3 days of testing. Ralph Boschung sets the fastest time of the day.

Before the Formula 2 returns in less than two weeks at Imola, the 11 teams are making a stop in Barcelona for three days of testing.
The drivers are entitled to two sets of three hours of driving per day.
The session started this morning at 9am in a rare cold weather in Barcelona. The Brazilian, who is leading the championship, set the fastest time ahead of Théo Pourchaire.
But the morning was mainly marked by the appearance of wind and rain. The track was too cold and not wet enough to use wet tires. The drivers did very little driving.
There was some improvement in the afternoon despite the grayness and the wind (14 degrees in the air, 19 on the track).
Swiss Ralph Boschung, in great form this season, achieved the best time of the day in 1’27″929 ahead of Marcus Armstrong in his Hitech, with a gap of over two tenths of a second.
Théo Pourchaire is one of the drivers who has completed the most laps in the afternoon with 52 laps! He is currently in sixth place (+1.383).
Clément Novalak, on the other hand, set the tenth fastest time (+1.566).
See you tomorrow for the second day!
