Qualification a bit chaotic today in Saudi Arabia with three red flags!

Théo Pourchaire was able to get back on track after hitting and breaking his ART GP. Unfortunately for him, after a few laps, his engine went up in smoke again (the first time was last week during race 1 in Bahrain). He will start from the back of the grid for both races this weekend.

All the drivers had to cut their effort for the first time.

Once the French driver’s single-seater was removed, the drivers set off again to chase the stopwatch. Second red flags! Logan Sargeant’s Carlin car hits the wall and bursts apart.

Once the latter is removed, the drivers can go out. And there… red flags (currently, we still don’t know why…) Simple checks?

There are less than ten minutes left when the traffic lights turn green.

Felipe Drugovich secures his second pole position in Formula 2 ahead of Dutchman Richard Verschoor (On the front row on Sunday, we will therefore have the one who started in pole position in the sprint race on Saturday (Drugovich) and Verschoor, the winner of that race)!

Bahrain’s poleman, Jack Doohan, secures the third place! Jake Hughes on his VAR will start from pole position tomorrow for the sprint race!

Clément Novalak will start from 12th position!

See you tomorrow at 1:30 PM for the sprint race
