A Schumacher F1 for sale for 5 million euros
A F-300 from the 1998 season driven by Michael Schumacher will soon be up for auction. It will cost at least 4.9 million euros to own the Ferrari that allowed the German to win the Hungarian Grand Prix that year.

The F-300 of Michael Schumacher is up for sale. It is the car from 1998, the year when the seven-time world champion finished in second place in the world championship. Beaten by the Finnish driver Mika Häkkinen, the red baron claimed six victories behind the wheel of the F-300, including a memorable one in Hungary.
On the Hungaroring track, Schumacher started in third position behind the McLaren-Mercedes of Häkkinen and Coulthard. He achieved an incredible race, greatly assisted by Ferrari strategist Ross Brawn. The Briton opted for an aggressive three-stop strategy, compared to two stops for the McLarens. The twisty layout of the Hungaroring made overtaking difficult, so he took a strategic gamble to help Schumacher make up his 16-point deficit to Häkkinen in the championship. The Finnish driver encountered a technical issue that cost him valuable positions, allowing “Schumi” to rapidly climb up the ranks. The German emerged from his third pit stop ahead of Coulthard and soared to claim his fifth victory of the season, benefiting greatly from the strategic genius of Ross Brawn and his exceptional driving skills. Despite this incredible success, Schumacher would go on to lose the championship in the final race of the season in Suzuka.
It is this victorious F-300 in Budapest that will be auctioned off soon, with an estimated starting price of 4.9 million euros.
