Mazepin more than ever in danger!
In addition to potentially losing its main sponsor, Haas F1 Team is perhaps on the verge of saying goodbye to its driver: Nikita Mazepin.

Since the beginning of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, numerous restrictive measures have been adopted in order to constrain the regime of Vladimir Putin as much as possible.
It is especially in the sports field that many competitions taking place in Russia or matches against Russian teams have simply been canceled. For example, the UEFA Champions League final was moved from Saint Petersburg to the Stade de France. The goal is to isolate Russia as much as possible.
A war in which Nikita Mazepin could very well be one of the collateral victims. In fact, the Ukrainian Federation of Automobile Sports has requested the FIA to ban drivers with Russian or Belarusian licenses from racing abroad. If the FIA accepts this, it would prevent Nikita Mazepin from competing in Formula 1.
The Russian pilot’s seat is already threatened by Haas abandoning its main sponsor: Uralkali, a Russian company specialized in potash production.
More than ever, Mazepin’s future in motorsport is uncertain.
