Arthur Leclerc retained by Prema in 2022
The Italian team Prema Racing has confirmed the renewal of Arthur Leclerc's contract.

After a very successful 2020 season in Regional Formula 3, which saw him finish in 3rd place, 2021 was relatively disappointing. Indeed, the Monégasque driver ended up in a meager 10th position in the driver standings.
However, despite mediocre results, Prema has decided to keep him. After all, it’s a long love story between the Italian team and him since 2017. Indeed, it was already in red that Charles Leclerc impressed the world of motor sports with his victory in F2. 3 years later, it was his little brother’s turn to wear the Prema suit. One of the most sought-after teams in junior categories.
The goal for Arthur Leclerc will be, in the same way as Mick Schumacher in 2018, to overturn the trend in order to vie for a seat in Formula 2.
Fortunately for him, with the support of Ferrari, Prema, and of course his older brother already well established in F1, Arthur Leclerc, he has all the tools to achieve it.
Arthur Leclerc doesn’t hide his joy about the renewal of his contract: “I am very happy to announce that I will continue working with Prema Racing for the 2022 FIA F3 season. Last year, we did a good job and 2022 will be the opportunity to put everything together. I can’t wait for the season to begin.”
