Schwartzman tops the final day of testing in Abu Dhabi with Haas
The final post-season tests in Abu Dhabi ended yesterday, thus bringing the 2021 F1 season to a close.

During the first day of post-season testing, the teams combined tests for the new 18-inch tires and tests for the young drivers. But on this second and final day, the majority of teams focused solely on testing the 18-inch tires.
Haas still had its young driver, Robert Shwartzman, drive, who had the opportunity to drive the Ferrari on the first day of testing. The Haas driver dominated the testing session since he was the only one driving a 2021 car. The other drivers were all trying out the 18-inch tires on mule cars.
As a reminder, Williams did not take part in these tests because the team did not prepare a car suitable for 18-inch tires. Furthermore, Nikita Mazepin was unable to compete as he tested positive for Covid-19. Therefore, Haas called upon Pietro Fittipaldi to try out the test car with the 18-inch tires.
