Ferrari’s junior driver will drive for Haas during the post-season tests
Formula 2 driver Robert Shwartzman will do post-season testing with the Haas team. The Russian is part of the Ferrari Driver Academy and had already tested an F1 car last year with Ferrari.

As the end of the season approaches, post-season tests are also approaching. On this occasion, Haas will welcome Russian driver Robert Shwartzman, currently third in the F2 championship. This opportunity, offered to a member of the Ferrari driver academy, is possible because the Haas team is a customer of Ferrari.
The Russian, Formula 3 champion in 2019 and former teammate of Mick Schumacher in F2 and F3, expressed his luck to be able to try a Formula 1 car again, but this time with a different team.
« This will be my first test with the Haas F1 team and I am really looking forward to getting to know a new team, a new environment, and also to learn as much as possible from them. Having the chance to drive for another F1 team is simply amazing and I can’t wait to work with everyone. », declared Robert Shwartzman.
Even if a place in F1 for the year 2022 is impossible, the Russian presents himself as a serious candidate in the years to come, as he has been part of the Ferrari driver program since 2017.
