Toto Wolff angry after the São Paulo Grand Prix
Mercedes had a difficult weekend but it ends in the best possible way for Lewis Hamilton's team. Nevertheless, the team boss, Toto Wolff, remains annoyed about all the incidents the team had to face.

After a eventful São Paulo Grand Prix for Toto Wolff’s team, the outcome at the end of this Grand Prix is incredible considering the path taken to achieve this result. Wolff reflected on this weekend marked notably by Hamilton’s disqualification during qualifying.
« I don’t want to moan here, because this is not how I see sports. I think we’ve just had a lot, a lot of blows to the face this weekend with decisions that could have gone either way, against us or for us,” the Austrian told Autosport.com.
And as Hamilton was coming back from far behind to challenge Max Verstappen and try to overtake him, the Red Bull driver defended himself in a fairly muscular way, leading Lewis off the corner. A defense that did not undergo an investigation by the FIA, much to the displeasure of Mercedes.
« When decisions always turn against you, it just makes me angry, and I will defend my team, my drivers for what is happening. I have always been very diplomatic in the way I discuss things. But diplomacy has ended today.
After Hamilton’s overtaking of Verstappen, Toto Wolff let out a gesture of anger towards the race director. His gesture can be explained by the lack of intervention from the FIA following the incident between the two title contenders a few laps earlier.
