The rankings after the São Paulo Grand Prix
The 2021 season is nearing its end, but many issues are still to be decided. From the Hamilton-Verstappen battle, Mercedes-Red Bull, to the fight for third place in the constructors' championship, an exciting end to the season awaits us.

Since the beginning of the season, the rivalry between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen has been widely talked about. From the collisions at Silverstone and Monza, to important home victories for each of them, at Silverstone for Hamilton and at Zandvoort for Verstappen, the race for the title has only intensified. With three races to go, the Dutchman leads the Briton by only 14 points in the drivers’ standings.
The third place is being contested between the two teammates of the title contenders. Bottas currently holds this position with a 25-point lead over Sergio Perez.
On the constructors’ side, we once again find Mercedes and Red Bull vying for the top spot. This time, Mercedes is leading with 521.5 points compared to Red Bull’s 510.5. The third place is being contested between Ferrari and McLaren. The Ferrari team has taken the upper hand over McLaren since their engine changes were made on both drivers. The Italian team is dominating McLaren with a comfortable lead of over 30 points.
Finally, a very tight battle is unfolding between AlphaTauri and Alpine to secure fifth place. The two teams are currently in a perfect tie with 112 points.
