At the end of an incredible weekend that saw him penalized twice, British driver Lewis Hamilton was elected “Driver of the Day” of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.

Started 20th in the sprint race, then finished 10th in the Grand Prix, nothing stopped the Mercedes driver in his quest for a 101st victory in Formula 1. This win brings him within 14 points of championship leader Max Verstappen.

While this Brazilian weekend has been marked by the “DRS gate” affair, Hamilton once again showed everyone his racing skills, his determination to win, and of course his immense talent.

The duel he is delivering us against his Dutch rival from Red Bull will certainly be very prominent in the history books of motorsport. We still have three more Grand Prix races to enjoy this thrilling duel, which is far from giving us its verdict.
