Visual updates for the Brazilian Grand Prix
The Sao Paulo Grand Prix will feature special graphics to promote their hybrid V6 turbo power unit. F1 defines this engine as "the most efficient engine in the world."

F1 has new hybrid power units since 2014. They replace the old V8 engines that had naturally aspirated and were introduced in 2006.
The purpose of the Brazilian Grand Prix is to promote these V6 engines and their specificity as hybrid power units. This is why, exceptionally, this Grand Prix will have its graphics (drivers’ names, race standings, paddock, etc.) specially designed for the occasion.

This promotion of the new hybrid technology is in line with the future of F1 with the changes of the new technical regulations in 2026 and the switch to synthetic fuel in 2030. These measures aim to make power units more efficient and durable.
