After the broadcast of the documentary “Alpine: Le Mans Legacy” on Canal+, the question was quickly asked: will there be a follow-up to Alpine’s adventure in Endurance?

Doubt hovered over the future of the Dieppe brand in the World Endurance Championship, but it has now been dispelled. Laurent Rossi stated:

“Yes, there will be a sequel, and we will be present with an LMDh in 2024 in Endurance and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans!”

What he then adds are the different criteria to be taken into account for this choice of regulation:

« We had to consider the economic, sporting, and commercial aspects. We hesitated a lot between this category, the LMH, and a full car, or leaving. We took more time than expected to choose, but the balance weighed heavily in favor of the LMDh. We will also have a lot of synergies with the Formula 1 teams! »

The French brand has chosen Oreca as its chassis partner, from the four others available in LMDh.

The Blues will join, in Hypercar, a host of manufacturers, namely: Toyota, Peugeot, Glickhenhaus, ByKolles, Ferrari, Audi, Porsche, BMW, Acura and Cadillac…pending others!
