4,858 COVID-19 screening tests, 4 positive cases in Russia
4,858 COVID-19 screening tests were conducted during the Russian Grand Prix week. 4 people tested positive.

As with each Grand Prix week, the FIA communicates the figures related to COVID-19. While the pandemic is starting to decrease, Formula 1 remains vigilant and monitors its progression. Between Monday, September 20 and Sunday, September 26 in Russia, 4,858 screening tests were carried out on drivers, teams, and staff. 4 people tested positive.
Each Grand Prix is closely monitored. However, there has been a decrease in positive cases compared to recent weeks. While in Belgium there were 15 positive cases, there were only 8 in Monza.
To be noted that FIA staff, F1 personnel, and journalists undergo testing at least every five days to be on-site during the Grand Prix. A driver who tests positive cannot take part in a race, like Kimi Räikkönen or Lewis Hamilton last year.
