Russian Grand Prix F2 – Qualifying: Oscar Piastri still on pole position!
Oscar Piastri secures his third consecutive pole position, he will start in front of Jehan Daruvala and Théo Pourchaire on Sunday!

Australian Oscar Piastri is the man in form at the moment [and this season], he takes the pole position of this Russian Grand Prix and the four points that come with it.
This helps him build his lead in the championship over his main rival, Chinese driver Guanyu Zhou. The championship runner-up could not do better than fifth (+0.529) on the pole position.
Jehan Daruvala, Red Bull Junior Team driver, sets the second-best time just under two tenths behind Oscar Piastri.
Good news on the French side, with Théo Pourchaire’s very nice third place finish.
The bad operation of the day is to be attributed to Robert Shwartzman who only managed to place his Prema in a meager 7th place. He will have to pull himself together this weekend if he does not want to see his teammate soar in the championship and see Théo Pourchaire climb up the rankings.
Dan Ticktum, fourth in the championship, delivered a poor performance with the tenth fastest time, seven tenths off the pole position. However, he will start from pole position tomorrow morning for race 1.
Note the great performances of Ralph Boschung and Jake Hughes, respectively sixth and seventh.
The three races will be broadcast on Motors Inside!
